Encourages individuals to accept Jesus, as Lord and Savior.  They assist them to become His Disciples by being a ministry that visits, brings compassion and assistance to the sick and hurting in the hospital or home. 

Strategies:

      •     It is the goal of this ministry to serve those in need who are a part of the body or "community" of the church.  This ministry also serves those who live in the surrounding communities.

      •     This ministry demonstrates His care to people who are hurting.  Caring may be expressed by those serving on a Community Care Team, through fellowship, prayer, sharing of scripture, or in some instances, assistance with household tasks.  The Community Care Teams also provides support to family members, friends and neighbors of hurting individuals as specific needs arise.

      •     Each person who wishes to serve on a Community Care Team is assigned to a team near their home or workplace.  Each team has a leader who contacts team members with visitation needs and supports or assists each team member as needed.

      •     Community Care Team members provide a vital link between the church and those in need.  Members with spiritual gifts of encouragement, mercy, or helps, and have a passion for ministering to members of the Church "community", and those who live in the surrounding areas, are always needed for this ministry.

      •     An extension of the Community Care Ministry Teams is the After Care visitation program.  This ministry seeks to address the needs of people going through the difficult and painful process of grieving due to a death in their family.  Community Care Team members may also be involved with this specialized area of visitation.

Meetings are held as deemed appropriate by the Ministry Leader.
